Treasurer's Report –Fred M.
Passed out invoices for After Five, Sunrise Solutions, Garden City,
and Easy Does it, and Broad Highway asked they be given to the group
treasurer. Thank you to Richmond Hill Group for the $400 contribution.
Assembly Expense Committee member Jeff M Corrections, $150
The institutional literature incorrect amounts, does not include two
corrections literature pickup this week.

We always need volunteers. There were five people at the Coastal Training
in May
Youth Detention Center (YDC), we will be taking a meeting on Mondays,
6 or 6:30, need volunteers. No training required, just need social security
card, driver's license, and be able to pass the background check. Need
at least 1 year of sobriety. Looking for 10 men and 10 women Would like
to get YDC on literature roster.
The Long County Transition Center Chaplin contacted Jeff about starting
a meeting. Jeff is looking for groups in the area to take the meeting,

New Years Eve – Andy A.
Checkbook balance $2081. The May 24 meeting was fairly well attended.
Looking at a Theme of water, boats, palm trees. Throwing out a life
preserver idea. The Treasurer Report was given at the District Meeting,
check with your GSR. Note: Several groups have chosen not to participate,
check with your group conscience. The speaker, facilities and DJ are
right on track. A tentative date for next meeting July 26, this is subject
to change.

Fred reported literature has been restocked. Robert made a visit, probably
need to restock. Jeff needs Correction Correspondence Pamphlets, are
they in. Sheala assured they were on last order.

Meet the 3rd Thursday each month at 6pm, Clubhouse. Phil has been taking
speakers to the DUI (round of applause) and is now stepping down. Jana,
Pembroke Group, 429-0698, will now be the point person for DUI.
Contacting WTOC 11 regarding the PSA's which have not been running.
Now have literature in the downtown Bed/Breakfasts. Restock regularly.

Lydia said Sheala passed out Group Information forms and 12th Step Call
sign up sheets to DCM's at District Meeting. Check with your GSR. Only
about half of groups have submitted forms.

Corporate Message Services
This corp. has experience in providing answering services for both NA
and the Rape Crisis Center; not listed with Better Business Bureau
Starting price estimate $80 per month operator time, about 45 minutes,
beyond is .82 per minute
Have software to write a specific package with multiple options. Such
as Press 1 for meeting place and time, Press 2 to speak to someone,
Press 3 etc... Would offer flat rate fee with personalized written menu
for .39 per minute
for non-profit, any overage they would consider a write-off as a service
to the community
RSVP Communications- not listed with Better Business Bureau New Customers:
Package price at $39 per month, approximately 30 min talk time (60calls).
Second package is $75 per month, approximately 60 min talk time (operator)
(120 calls) no binding contract for long-term, subject to change due
to fluctuation needs?
Chatham Answering Service
not listed with Better Business Bureau or Chamber of Commerce. Caters
largely to medical professionals has experience in fielding calls for
the police dept and most operators have sociology competency dealing
with crisis calls Estimated $200 per month for approximately 3 to 4
calls an hour possibility of dropping to $150 per month for fewer calls
offered assessing service for 6 months, then reevaluate cost per month
require a written proposal and meeting to discuss details
Discuss: Feasibility of using answering service 10pm to 6am motion made
by Lydia S. New Women's Group in February. A list of pros and cons still
must be presented, Intergroup office will provide the committee with
past phone bills to evaluate how many calls received 10pm thru 6am.
Will then give recommendations of feasibility at July Intergroup meeting.
Then can take to groups for vote.

Motion to provide $45 a month literature for Youth Detention Center
made by Liz P. White Bluff Group, Dyann E. Pembroke Group second. Take
motion to group conscience.
